My beautiful cousin Lynette. Taken too soon. Although we had not seen each other in a while, you were always in my heart.

Lucy Mills on 2 June, 2023 at 10:06am

I was saddened to receive the news of Lyns death. I have always admired her ability to handle anything that comes her way with a smile and good humour, while being the ultimate professional! I am grateful to have known Lyn, and to have had the pleasure of working with her for many years. My thoughts are with Lyns family, and the FCM Travel team at this time.

Such as special lady, loved by so many.

Those that had the good fortune to meet you on life’s journey have been blessed by your presence, I could not be more thankful that life brought us together through work, the outcome a lasting friendship and unforgettable memories.

Lyn, you just had a way to make everyone feel special, you could lift a mood in any room with that smile, a personality so endearing and a bit cheeky but you always treating everyone in your path with care and respect. No matter where you were, your light and warmth brightened every room and made all our lives better for having the privilege of having you in it.

In a world where people can be anything, the most important thing is to be kind, and that my friend, you always were.

Lyn, somehow you had a way of making any situation a positive one, always genuinely with that fantastic sense of humour and cheeky grin - despite your own challenges, everyone else always came first.

Heartfelt condolences to your family and friends, thank you for being a true and loyal friend. I will miss you Lynnie – and so will the “Training Room” – Rest easy beautiful lady xx

Dear Lynnie, I wish we had not lost touch with each other, I remember you told me the first time we got together after so long, you joined Face Book just to find me 😇. I still tell the story of when some guy approached you in Collins Street and said you were beautiful, and wanted to take you for a drink, but you didnt want to go on your own so David and I sat in the back ground watching 😃. He was nice enough that night, but ended up not the one for you, (he was married, the jerk)Still you laughed about it. Will remember you forever, rest easy Lynnie xxx🌺
Love Carol and David 🌻

My dear Rosé 🍷, I so can remember when the merging with FCm happened and you had clients in WA for your reviews. I was at CT at the time just started as an account manager. You just came with a whole new level of experience but with style and professionalism, and that creaky smile.I thank you for being my mentor and my friend for i think almost 20 years since that merge. My best memory has to be Paris when Rosè was born. We only had about 6 hours before our transfer back to the airport on this amazing famil from Melbourne to Paris. Hangover to the max we kept our promise when we were drunk to see something of Paris. We just had the best day ever, despite the pouring rain, got lost, we sheltered in 2nd shops, little local cafes as we were so lost, locked up in Louvre Museum as somebody left the bag unattended and we had 45 min to transfer. As we made it back in time, we thought we deserved a glass of rosè. The poor waiter had no idea what we were asking so he kept saying Rose, Rose Rose, okay, we ask for a red wine and white one and mixed them together to have our rosè. The first time someone asked us for a drink back on our flight to Melbourne we said “Rosè”. From that day we called each other Rosè. Only last month we spoke, not saying anything about yourself that’s what you were, humble positive in life and its hard to believe you are gone. Our universe has an other star when we look up to the brightest. You’ are gone but never shall i forget you RIP 💔

I nearly fell off my chair today as I received an updated teams meeting from you 😢. I really hope you didn't take your laptop with you Lynnie. I will miss our chats, our customer meetings, your smiling face and hearing your infectious laugh in the office. No matter what you were going through you always put everyone else's needs ahead of your own. Beautiful person inside and out. Shine brightly Lynnie....we will miss you x

What an incredible woman and friend. Always a smile - sometimes a sly one (they were my favourite).
Lyn always had time for me in a variety of ways and in various roles over the years.
The world has lost one of the good ones.
