Goodbye Harry, hope you have found peace

Last time the 5 of us were all together in the same place.
Last time getting a photograph of us on the steps of the family home after mum's funeral in 2016. How many family photographs were taken on those steps in the 60-ish years she had the tenancy? Who knows.

This was the last picture of all 5 of us and mum on her 80th birthday. It was the first time in decades we'd been in Scotland at the same time. Jill (bottom right) stayed in Dundee. I (top right) moved to Liverpool after Jackie (bottom left) had moved to Australia, and before Linda (top middle) and Harry (top left) followed suit.
It's sad to think half of us are gone now.

Devastated by the loss of my baby brother. I remember the first time I saw him when he was brought home from the hospital. As a 6 year old, I wasn't too impressed to lose my status as the spoiled youngest, never mind him being the only boy out the five of us! The number of times I heard "you should know better, you're older" when he did something to annoy me and I retaliated. He was sneaky and never got caught, but I always did!
Coming so soon after losing our eldest sister, Jill, a year ago his loss has been especially hard. I wish I could be there with my sisters Linda and Jackie but circumstances at home meant it wasn't possible but I will be linking into the service from Liverpool. Love you Harry 💔
This picture was taken in August 1984 when he was visiting home. He was 20.
