ਆਂਟੀ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਮੋਹਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ ਇਹ ਖ਼ੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਸਤਰਾਂ ਯਾਦ ਆਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ;
ਮਾਂ ਵਰਗਾ ਘਣਛਾਵਾਂ ਬੂਟਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਨਾ ਆਵੇ,
ਲੇ ਕੇ ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਛਾਂ ਉਧਾਰੀ ਰੱਬ ਨੇ ਸੁਰਗ ਬਣਾਏ,
ਬਾਕੀ ਕੁੱਲ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬੂਟੇ ਜੜ੍ਹ ਸੁੱਕਿਆਂ ਮੁਰਝਾਵਣ,
ਐਪਰ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਰਝਾਇਆਂ ਇਹ ਬੂਟਾ ਸੁੱਕ ਜਾਏ।
Aunty ji lived her life well. She was loving, affectionate and a picture of grace and compassion. As we bid farewell to Aunty, let’s celebrate life well lived and cherish the memories she gifted us. May her gentle spirit continue to inspire us and remind us the beauty of life lived well with compassion and grace.
