To all the Bagot family....so sorry....was not a good day when I received message from Chris of her passing.....Teresa and I had hoped to get to see her one more time....just couldn't get it worked out. But coming to see the rest of you is still on the Bucket list. Will be thinking of all of you on Thursday! Love from the Spurlock's.

Rita was my Angel (Ivor too!)
She pretty much changed my life about 53 years ago,,,,told me to change my life and move in w/ the Bagot family....told me to shave, get a haircut and sell my motorcycle. 6 months later I returned to the US......those 6 months were a very happy time for me....first getting "my own" curry and eventually I was able to eat the regular "hot" curry w/ the rest of the family...lol. Getting accepted as a member of the family by all. I treasure the memories....teasing Jean.....watching her and Pauline grow up into 2 b eauties just like their Mom....and getting treated like a brother by Chris and Roger. Will never forget the times watching Cricket w/ Ivor while Rita was in the kitchen preparing dinner.....then all of us would sit down and have the best food I've ever had!
Rita helped me when I was at a real low in my life. Her and Ivor also came to visit my family in Colorado numerous times....one of my
favorite times was when my daughter was born....they stayed 3 weeks and Rita took care of us all....my wife, the new baby and myself and two sons...she even made enough Curry for us for the next few months....we all loved her dearly! She is gone, but no forgotten. LOVE YOU Rita!!
