A beautiful tribute to such a beautiful soul x It seems like a lifetime ago when Uncle Billy, Aunty Yvonne and all the family stayed with us in London - we were all so young! Cousin Billy, chasing around Elphinstone Street (our family home), us both getting in trouble for climbing the banisters (thought we were superheroes!) and of course gathering round the piano :) I feel so blessed to have got to know you again Billy, in the later years - you inspiring (nagging?!), me to get my girl a drum kit, chatting about family memories... Family was so important to you, at the very heart of you - the bond and the love which, no matter how far away we are or how much times passes, never goes away. I will always remember your love and bravery, Love you cuz x

It is heartbreaking to hear the news of cousin Billy passing. My thoughts and prayers go to you all. I know the love and warmth he gave to my family (especially my mum Auntie Sadie). When I visited Australia I always felt uplifted around him and I believe that’s a rare and beautiful thing. It saddens me that I will not see him again and that my children will never get to meet him. Sending love from London, from all Aunt Sarah’s children and grandchildren, we love you always cousin. Rest peacefully xxxxx
