A lovely gentlel kind lady who also attended some of my school reunions many years later. May God take her in his caring arms and find her a special place to live an enternal life in peace.

I've known Val since my days with 'The Phil' - supremely capable, kind and a choral powerhouse! A fellow Alto, she was rehearsing with us in the Heidelberg Choral Society till just a couple of weeks ago - a testament to her love of this art. Condolences to her family. xx

Val took James under her wing when he first arrived. She took him to the local pub the first night where he had the privilege of seeing Chopper Reid! That relationship was sustained for a long time with mutual respect.
Val was always very kind and welcoming to us. We exchanged stories books and experiences. Keith in particular remembers her story of being in Rome and wanting to travel South. Her hosts thought it unsafe and made sure she was put on a train going Northwards. Val was determined and stopped at the next station and took a train to Naples!
We send our condolences and thoughts to her family of whom she was very proud. She was a grand lady. Love Stephanie and Keith James and George.
