Dear Sean, we can’t begin to explain what an amazing and valuable friend you were to the Donalds. Right from the beginning of our friendship you showed what a genuine, helpful and special person you were. Our home is full of reminders of all the times you spent with us, from all our lights, our extension and the bus shelter. We think about you when we make a cuppa, open the beer fridge and listen to our music. Our boys loved having you around, scoffing at your jokes and your teasing. In our times of need you were there to look after our boys, Krystal & even Vicky the cat. We love you Sean and you have left a void that cannot be filled. The Donald family are so fortunate to have had you as their friend. RIP our beautiful friend.

Sean, I can’t begin to put into words how much we are all going to miss you. You were always so much fun to be around and we were always so excited when we were staying with you, Nicky and the boys on our trips to Edinburgh. You really do hold the title for the best fry up!
It was clear that you were so proud of your boys and I’m sure they have made you proud today. Your humour would always lighten any dark situation, so I know you’d be making fun of me for writing this! Just know that I love and miss you so much. Love from “Big T” xxx

Sharonmarie Yates (Dale) on 22 September, 2021 at 10:44pm

Sean no words can say how much I will miss you. I still get up,make a cuppa and get ready to video call you. Then I remember. I am glad we sat together in English class then years later we reconnected. We had some good banter. Almost 5 years of me driving you potty but it made you smile. I told you that you are my kryptonite and you will always be. Thankyou for spending quality time with me and making me laugh xxx

Angie & Paul on 22 September, 2021 at 9:14pm

To my favourite brother in law- today has been truly heartbreaking for us all, but this will not be how we remember you. Your cheek, banter and always being there for people will be in our minds and hearts alongside your 4 boys who will make you even prouder. Thank you for always being there for me and being the closest I have ever had to a brother . Nothing was ever too much trouble for you - I was like the third wheel when you and Nicky got together. You even laughed when I threw yogurt at you , which you always would me up about. We shared some lovely memories from holidays at center parks, Alton towers to kylie minogue concerts but will never forget your legendary sausage roll breakfasts. Will never ever forget you , love you so much, your favourite sister and law (even though I was your only one but as you said ‘that’s not the point!). 💚❤️ Ang & Paul xxxx

Sonia & Des Baxter and Family on 22 September, 2021 at 5:13pm

Sean, totally lost for words. You always lit up the room with your funny witty charm. We were privileged to become close friends and enjoy your company at a few parties and gatherings. You helped us out in so many ways and never wanted anything in return. I still laugh at the fire extinguisher you bought us as a house warming (in case Grayce left the gas on again!) and the story you so often told about our dog liking legs! As part of our group of friends you will be so very missed! We are here for your beautiful family should they ever need anything. Fly high and keep laughing xx

Sean, we remember fondly meeting you through Cubs and having a chinwag each week. We only managed to capture every third word, but we knew from the big grin on your face and the cheeky smile, that you were our sort of person. You and Nicky have given the greatest gift to the world in your four boys and we know that she will continue to take care of them for you and that they will continue to make you proud. Claire McLachlan on 22 September, 2021 at 4:07pm

Sean you have been taken far too young and will be a miss to all. Without you and Nicky I would not have been able to work full time. You took Adam and Ross in the school holidays. Having four boys of your own you must of been mad! You and Nicky provided my boys with stability and laughter at a difficult time. Adam and Ross have such fond memories and thankfully still support Hearts and you couldn't turn them into Celtic fans.Danny and Rose raised a true gentleman. Nicky you have been an amazing strength. Love to all the boys. Sleep tight Sean x

Love to all, Miriam xxxx

Sean was one of the best men I knew, and a father figure to me when I lost my own father. Will miss his quick thinking and sardonic sense of humor. He was always willing to help others, and an inspiration to us younger men. Rest in Power.

Scott & Maryanne Blizzard on 22 September, 2021 at 3:46pm

Sean, you were a great neighbour to have in the street, even though we could only pick up every second word with your strong Scottish accent. 😄. You had a heart of gold and were there for us and anyone when they needed you. I’m sorry I never got to have a last beer with you, and will have a few for you and with you tonight. Watch over your kids mate and will see you again one day for a few beers. Love from Scott and Maryanne

I am so grateful that I could share these last 8 weeks with you and how we slipped right back into married life. I never stopped loving you and I am very privileged that you shared your wishes with me and allowed me to cuddle up in bed with you every day. Thank you for allowing me to sing even if you did tell me "only in the shower"!
So, this is the end of our journey, but you will always live on in our boys. I am heartbroken but will love you always and will miss you forever.

Peter Marshall on 22 September, 2021 at 1:33pm

So sad to hear of Sean’s passing. I worked with Sean for about 3 or 4 years with MW Engineers. He was always a positive hard working person. He was also a lot of fun socially and I enjoyed more than a few drinks at various events with him. His broad accent got more broad as the nights got later. Sean was a good guy who passed on too soon. Condolences to the family and friends of Sean.

Fly high with the angels now Sean. I am grateful to have been a part of your life. You’ve left a big hole in many hearts and will be forever missed. Your dedication to your family, your happy and positive outlook on life and your sense of humour will always be remembered.
Your legacy lives on through your four amazing and wonderful boys who I am proud to call my cousins. I know you will be watching over them and Nicola now and keeping them safe.
I will also be forever in your debt at the dedication from you to spending a fortune in coles so you could collect the little shops for Elizabeth! God knows how long that took you to fill the bag.
God rest your soul Sean, be free and you will forever be in my prayers.
All our love
Laura & Elizabeth xxx

Sean, one of life’s good guys. Hard working, genuine, dedicated to your family. Thank you for everything Sean. You were always so very kind to me and Beb. You and Nicola always welcomed us into your home and allowed us to be part of your family life. Great memories of “The mad house” at Fox Covert, our trips around Australia, and our sessions in the garden when you always got me drunk! You have left a huge gap in a lot of lives Sean, but have left the world a wonderful legacy in your 4 lovely Sons. I know you will always watch over them, and they’ll continue to make you proud.
