One of my stories of Bobby Late 80's on a Thursday night at Johnson reserve. Bobby and I were 2 of the last to leave. We both lived in Khartoum street, so I gave Bobby a dink home. We got about 50m up the footpath, got a bit wobbly, and ended up falling into a brick fence with those old school triangle shape bricks on the ridge. I kept pedalling to try to recover the situation, while bobbys face was dragging along the row of ridge bricks. We eventaully both crashed over the fence into a garden bed. We laughed our heads off, bobby with his special laugh that he used to talk through, calling me to drunk to dink him home. We got back on the bike and eventually made it home. When I saw Bobby Saturday he told me that when he got home he gave Brent and Jaimee a kiss goodnight and left blood on both their pillows. When Tracey went in to see the kids the next morning she didnt unserstand why both of them had blood in them. Bobby had ripped half his ear off on the fence and we had no idea. The scar was witness to that night for years to come.

We are so sad to hear of the loss of Rob. After watching his service I realised how much we have in common: married to a golf tragic, living in a lifestyle village, a love of caravaning and having good times with friends. I think we would have all got on well. Hopefully by reconnecting we will be able to catch up in the future. Until then all our love as you come to terms with a different life without your Rob.
