You may not have been perfect, my grief is immeasurable but in time I hope to heal and love you for the wonderful husband and father that you were, not the mistakes that you have made.
I will still see you at the gates, my time nearly came but our children were my saviour. I love you to infinity and beyond. xxxxxx

Peter,
You took your fight head on with an incredible energy and drive. You left an amazing legacy: reminding us how to live and almost demanding us to do the bloody test. I am sure Sharon and your family are incredibly proud. Condolences.
Brad

Pete
I feel incredibly privileged to have been able to spend 18 months working closely together.
You are a true character whose presence will have a lasting impact on me personally and everyone else in our business that was around you. Never before have I witnessed such a sense of purpose, integrity, optimism, courage and resilience, not to mention good humour despite what has been the ultimate challenge.
The team at Swissport and I are all better people for having known you and I want you and your wonderful family to know that you and your family will always be in our thoughts, our memories and in our hearts.
I don’t know what the universe has in store for all of us, but I truly hope to see you again some time down the road where we can share stories about how this next chapter unfolded.
Goodbye for now my friend.

Will always remember those funny nights at the Gills, you boys getting quite serious with those games.
Taken too soon, but never forgotten.

Gerry and Lesley Duffett on 22 January, 2020 at 8:26am

It’s not often you can use this term, but when referring to Pete you would not be wrong in saying he was a true legend.
Taken early in life he will be greatly missed by all the Duffett family.
He was a great guy and we created some unbelievable memories during our time together.
Our hearts go out to Sharon and the rest of the family. Gone but always in our memories.

Pete was a larger than life character who had an energy and enthusiasm that was contagious. His passion for our industry and his commitment to service, quality and innovation were inspiring. I learned so much from Pete in the short time I knew him and for this, I'm eternally grateful. He will be missed....

My dear brother Pete
You are gone, but time or distance has never had an effect on us, neither shall your passing. I will think of you every day. As brothers we are glue and our soul strong.
Our comfortable silences together, knowing we had both thought it, questioned it and answered it without a word spoken will always stay with me.
Your time in your vessel this life you have inspired many, so go, go join the universe with all your positive energy and lead once again.
With Mum, Mel, Nana, Gran, and all that have gone before you, I will join you one day again mate to celebrate xx
Your brother Mark

We were taught - we are all brothers - a bond that will not be broken. Forever in my heart, always on my mind.

It was always a pleasure to catch up with Pete each time he was in Brisbane. I wish we’d had more opportunity to work together directly.

I was genuinely inspired by what Pete achieved last year and even more so by hearing of his personal adventures and experiences. He shared openly and was positive, engaging and fun to be around. A great guy and a great colleague that will be sincerely missed.

Ben Ryan on 21 January, 2020 at 2:49pm

Peter was a larger than life character. His enthusiasm for his work and colleagues was a credit to him. His positive attitude to the health challenge that he faced was simply inspirational. I only had the pleasure of knowing Peter for a short time, but I am definitely better from the experience. My thoughts go out to his family and friends. Rest in peace.

Clair Rutherford on 21 January, 2020 at 2:33pm

What an impact you have had on so many lives, in so many positive ways. I have been fortunate to have known you for many, many years, however, the last few as an avid listener to your radio shenanigans with Frizz, the Butcher and co, have been an absolute hoot! I feel honoured to have known you PJ. Let's make sure the Peter Logan Effect is lasting. Much love to Sharon and family. RIP mate.

Will always cherish the memories I have of my time working with Peter! His no nonsense approach, encouragement, communications and commitment to excellence inspired all around him to be better. I've been lucky enough to see some of the messages he gave around men's health and salute his bravery and compassion in encouraging men to deal with these issues. Bless you & Godspeed Peter!

Such a genuine man taken too early. We looked forward to our annual bonfire playing finska or corn hole or just chilling having a chat and a beer. You were such an inspiration and I am sure you saved many lives by bringing awareness to bowel screening.
Always in our hearts Pete and you are very missed by all
Sincere Condolences Sharon and family xoxoxo

Pete. Our much loved Son-in-law.
You can shed tears that he has gone,or you can smile because he lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back,or you can close your eyes and see what he has left.
You can remember him and only that he is gone,or you can cherish his memory and let it live on.
Good bye Pete, you gave it your all.
Hope your message #petesentme for people to get the Bowel Test gets through.

Peter approached work with great passion. He was not only a highly effective leader in tough circumstances, but he was also a man who was a delight to have led. I say that not because it was at all easy to lead him. But, it was always productive with a positive outcome. He presented himself as tough and hardened, which he was. But, he was also a true mensch, with kind spirit really driving the show, just under his skin. His accomplishments for us around the world were many.

In the last few years, many of us have had the opportunity to see his passion, leadership and humanity at work at work as he's faced his life's greatest challenge. He was thankful for a life well lived, and embraced the love of Sharon and the family. We should all be fortunate enough to leave this world with the glowing appreciation of life that he had.

I am so grateful to have been his friend.

My very deepest sympathies to Sharon and the family.
