On behalf of the Southern Saints VFLW team, it is with sadness that we say goodbye to Lisa but it is with gratitude and love that we remember the beauiful energy, laughter and support that Lisa provided to our girls. She was a wonderful part of our entire club across both ours and our mens Zebra's program and she will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Lisa and make sure you're getting them all organised wherever your spirit may be 💜💜💜

So saddened to hear about the passing of Lisa in what are universally difficult times. We used to chat about our respective studies and life adventures when she was working at the Wrest Point gym in Hobart while studying exercise physiology. I found her witty, intelligent, funny and ebullient. Lisa had spark. Deepest sympathies to her family and friends..
Am reading the book Lisa sent from Tasmania to our son this morning. She told me that it had been mentioned on Ellen by Anne Hathaway and sent me the link to the show when she posted it to us. Anne Hathaway makes television appeal to find Tassie book to give to Ellen DeGeneres - ABC News https://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-06-08/tas-author-gets-shout-out-on-ellen-degeneres-show/9850268 George loves the bag it came in as it has all his favourite animals on it. He still uses it to put his toy animals in when he pretends to "go shops" Lisa loved to learn (I mean who else but Lisa would buy a collective nouns book for a baby & mumma!) Learning together is the best gift I can pass on to him in her memory. She was a wonderful listener with to the point, brave advice and I will remember her.

Gosh it was a hot day. We had a table with the most beautiful view but moved from outside into the aircon and she asked to sit near their wine display! I will remember her when I see those tables and remember her on days like today when I re-read this book to our son.
