I lovingly remember John as a unique character. My class mate, who made me laugh a lot! And at times challenged me too..lol. But mostly dear John, you taught me that patience and acceptance go a long way on this journey. And that the depth of a gentle Soul is far more than the character they play. I'm glad we shared those school days that have left me with fond happy memories. Im very grateful to have known you Mr Scanlon. Peace and rest now.. My condolences and love to Linda Shannon & Tom xxx

My deepest condolences to the Scanlon family. Shannon, you are a wonderful daughter and a pillar of strength for your dad ❤ I am so proud of you, you did so much. Please know that Linda, Tom, and yourself, along with the rest of the family, are in my thoughts and prayers. My heart is heavy for you all and I feel so saddened this has happened.
