Dear Shannon, Margaret and Family. My sincere condolences on the loss of Greg. Such a lovely man (even though he was a Collingwood supporter) May he rest in peace and watch over you from above.

Gregory Heafield. It was very much everyone’s pleasure to have both known, and worked alongside you at Flemington CIB in the early 90’s. You had a boyish and enthusiastic approach to your duties, getting difficult work done. Taking responsibility was second nature to you. You were a pivotal person amongst a group of detectives. Your ego was rarely, if ever offended, revealing a man comfortable in his own skin. That broad, ready smile shone brightly. Your true love of course was Margaret and the kids, Dionne, Travis and Shannon. God bless you Greg. We are all the better for having had you in our lives, and the wider community was grateful for your dedication and service. Gone way too early. M Prowse.

Sad to hear of the passing of a valued work colleague, whom I had the pleasure of working with at Brunswick. RIP Greg and condolences to the Heafield family.
