My deepest condolences to Graham’s family – I’m so sorry for your loss. I shared a ‘pod’ with Graham at MacRob for many years, and he was a wonderful colleague and friend. A kind, caring and warm person to everyone he met, Graham brought wit, intelligence and curiosity to his work on a daily basis. He cared deeply about his students and supported them in their learning with professionalism and a genuine respect for their thinking. I greatly appreciated his humour and his friendship to me during that time. He will be sorely missed.

I had the great misfortune of only knowing Graham for just a couple of years through teaching at MacRob. You could spend a day writing endless superlatives to describe him, suffice to say our world sadly lacks enough souls such as Graham. Thankfully, however, his long dedication to our profession will have made an impact on many, many students who will/have become the people of kindness and integrity that Graham was. RIP Graham.

Graham made every morning in the MacRob staff room brighter and funnier. He always showed kindness and compassion for all, and had endless patience. If you ever needed support Graham was there offering it without being asked. Graham was a true gentleman in ever sense of the word and I am so grateful to have known him.
My prayers and thoughts are with you now.

Fondest regards
Kara Coughlan
