Having been friends since we joined the Fiat Club in 1970, we will miss your cheery smile, caring personality and shared love of Fiats. We have wonderful memories of time spent at the Interstate Motorkhana/ Fiat Nationals and all the competition and social club events over those years.
You are so fondly remembered by club members for your kindness, willingness to help and your passing has left us sad but with great memories . We will miss you Baz

So sorry to hear of the sudden loss of Barry! Condolences to Graham, Valda, children, and extended family , Wendy and all who knew Barry! I knew Barry from Burra Squares and he was always so kind and positive and encouraging and just liked to have fun! (as dancing should be!!). I always remember him with a smile on his face! He sounds like he has had a very full life - for that, he deserves a huge amount of congratulations!! Gone too soon, but congratulations Barry, on a life well loved!! You are an inspiration!! 😢🌱🌲🍁🍂🌻🌾⛳🔨❤
Love to Wendy, Graham, Valda and families

Baza, We will miss you at our OCAV lunch catch up’s in the city or the Terminus Hotel. You were a great work colleague and friend. Enjoyed conversations about Cars, Aussie plants, square dancing and cars. Wendy & yourself use to always be willing to come to lunch or dinners whenever I would organise them. Our old friends group were so happy you were able to come to our last lunch in 2018 before the pandemic mucked up plans for other catch ups and you never complained when you were the only male who would turn up. Barry will be sure to have a drink for you when we can. R.I.P. Barry You will be missed. Sending condolences to Wendy and your family. ❤️🌹❤️🌹

We were sorry to hear of the passing of Barry Ellis.
He was a member of the Pajero FWD club from 1988, in its early inception days, which is when we joined. We did some early trips with him & would chat to him at club meetings.
He was a happy, positive guy & we wish our condolences to the family

Linda and Ken Briscoe on 13 October, 2021 at 5:05pm

Sincere condolences to Graham, Keith, Wendy, David and Robyn from all at U3A Nunawading, and particularly from the Wednesday Walking Group which Barry led as “our fearless leader” until his illness became too much for him to continue. He was an excellent leader - always smiling and encouraging - and even organised extra walks during holidays. He was also our resident wildflower expert. A good friend to the entire group, he will be very sorely missed by us all. (Posted on behalf of all the Walking Group)
